Details about the job description: 

The BCBA (Educational Coordinator) is responsible for assisting the Director of Clinical Services and the Director of Educational Services in the day-to-day operation of the classroom educational services and implementation and monitoring of all behavioral programming. The BCBA (Educational Coordinator) assures implementation of the curriculum in conjunction with Lead Special Education Teachers, under the supervision of the Director of Clinical Services and Director of Educational Services.  The BCBA (Educational Coordinator) works to ensure the behavioral programs developed are appropriate to the ages and populations served.  

  • Ensures implementation of student IEP objectives and lesson plans
  • Oversees IEP writing process and completes necessary assessments for each student
  • Supervises and trains classroom teacher and classroom support staff
  • Ensures of staff feedback tools, bi-weekly student assessments, student behavior and skill acquisition graphs/data are completed

Must be (a) be a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) at the Master’s level or working towards being board-eligible, and/or (b) have an applicable Exceptional Children license (e.g., Special Education – Adapted Curriculum, Special Education – General Curriculum) issued by the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction or working towards being eligible.
