Do you want to contribute to SC ABA in a leadership capacity? Help direct the overall goals and activities of the organization? Or do you know a colleague who would make a stellar president?
Please consider submitting a nomination* for a candidate for president-elect. Self-nominations are welcome! If elected, the candidate will serve a four-year term including one year as president-elect, two years as president, and one year as past-president.
The candidate must have leadership and management skills, be a BCBA or BCBA-D in good standing with the BACB for a minimum of 5 years, be a member of SC ABA, and reside in SC for the duration of their term. Self nominations are welcome!
Essential duties include: Uphold the mission of the SC ABA, Coordinate annual conference, Attend SC ABA sponsored events such as: annual conference, social networking gatherings, webinars, etc. Manage all SCA ABA endeavors, including special interest groups and sub-committees, Participate in at least one special interest group, Attend and maintain active involvement in State ABA Association summit meetings (location is in USA) and travel paid by SC ABA, and monthly calls.
Time commitment: Participate in weekly/bi-weekly board meeting calls, scheduled during business hours Monday-Friday, Participate in quarterly in-person board member meetings, Allocate 10-15 hours of discretionary time each month for volunteer position
