Medicaid Liaison Position

Are you interested in helping to increase access to ABA in South Carolina?

SC ABA is recruiting TWO MEMBERS to serve on our Legislative Affairs Committee as a Medicaid Liaison.

Requirements:

1. BCBA or BCaBA in good standing
2. Work in a leadership position for an ABA organization that accepts Medicaid
3. Desire to collaborate with DHHS representatives to improve quality and access to ABA
4. Ability to represent SC ABA goals and perspectives in meetings with Medicaid representatives 
5. Solicit SC ABA member input on priorities with respect to increasing access to ABA via Medicaid
6. Participate in quarterly meetings (4x/year) with representatives from DHHS, take notes, and report back to the SC ABA Board
7. Participate in brief monthly meetings with the Legislative Affairs Committee

Total time estimated for this position: 1-2 hr/month
