Call for Papers! 

SC ABA 11th Annual Conference, October 24-25, 2022


Guidelines for Submission:

Proposals for the 2022 conference must be behavior analytic in nature and contain 75 minutes of content to be delivered to professional Behavior Analysts within a breakout session.  Primary presenters should be Board Certified Behavior Analysts, and information within the presentation should go beyond the current task list and exam preparation information. If proposals discuss original research, the presenter should provide documentation that appropriate IRB approval was obtained.

Deadline to Submit:  June 15, 2022



Suggested Topics

All proposals that meet the criteria are welcome, and SC ABA especially encourages proposals in the following areas:

  • ABA in schools

  • Consumer perspectives of behavior analytic services

  • Effective interdisciplinary collaboration

  • Job training and employment of adults with disabilities

  • Organizational behavior management

  • Providing behavior analytic services to adult populations

  • Self-determination/self-advocacy

  • Sexuality education

  • SC ABA also welcomes panel discussions of behavior analytic content, including any of the topics above .


Submission Instructions:

Submit your proposal using the link below. Proposals should include an abstract, measurable learning objective(s), key words, an updated CV for all presenters, and a professional reference. The deadline for submissions is June 15, 2022. The SC ABA board will meet after the deadline to review all proposals and schedule interviews with selected candidates.

Presenter Attestation:

I attest that I, as the primary instructor of the CE event, have completed formal training, independent study, or experiential training in the subject matter that I will be presenting at the 2022 SC ABA Conference.  I attest that I, and any co-instructors, if applicable, meet BACB requirements for offering Type 2 CEs, and that any co-instructors also have completed formal training, independent study, or experiential training in the subject matter. I attest that I, and any co-instructors, if applicable, will comply with the BACB Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for the duration of the presentation.  I attest that I disclosed any affiliation(s) with companies, products and/or services that may be featured during the presentation at SC ABA's conference.
